Emmy and RTS winning composer, Nainita Desai, is an Ivor Novello, double BIFA nominee and BAFTA Breakthrough Brit. She was described by Empire magazine as one of the top 5 composers to watch for 2022 and in leading UK film critic Mark Kermode’s Top 3 Film Scores of 2021.

Amongst various BAFTA, Oscar and Emmy acclaimed productions, Nainita’s recent projects include award winning scores for Oscar nominated For Sama, The Reason I Jump, and the Netflix feature 14 Peaks.

Current projects include drama series Crossfire (BBC1), The Tower (ITV), Lucy Kirkwood BBC drama Maryland, upcoming comedy-drama series Funny Woman (Sky), a drama series for Disney+ and Predators for Sky/Netflix.

Nainita began her career as a sound designer for directors including Werner Herzog and Bertolucci, as well as music engineering for Peter Gabriel.
